On December 18th, I was in a serious car accident that nearly cost me my life. Thanks to emergency services, I was rushed to the hospital, where doctors performed surgery to stop internal bleeding and repair a fractured hip. I also suffered several broken ribs. The recovery process has been overwhelming, and I am now facing at least six months in bed, unable to work, with a colostomy bag and ongoing therapy. In about ten years, I will also need another hip surgery.
Before the accident, I worked two jobs, putting in 16 hours a day to support my autistic son who lives in my home country, pay off debts, and cover my basic living expenses here. Despite all my efforts, I was never able to save money for emergencies like this. A friend suggested I start a GoFundMe to ask for help covering my living costs and supporting my son while I recover.
I am deeply grateful to anyone who can help, even in the smallest way. I know life is difficult for everyone right now, and I completely understand if someone wants to help but simply can't. I need to try this because I'll be bedridden for at least six months with no job, and any support would mean the world to me. Thank you so much for reading my story and considering a donation.
