May 2026 update! 

As Victor comes to the end of more than 40 days of radiation treatment, he has only been able to work 4½ hours a day during this difficult journey. In the midst of his treatments, his lifelong partner, Ken, also became seriously ill, was hospitalized, and will require additional procedures this summer. Although radiation is coming to an end, Victor will continue lifelong chemotherapy medication due to his stage four diagnosis and the spread that was discovered at the time of diagnosis. Through every challenge, they remain deeply grateful for the love, support, prayers, generosity, and kindness shown by family and friends. Their lives have truly been blessed by such caring and loyal people. Thank you all for standing beside them during this challenging time. Your donations are so very appreciated.

March update on Victor’s Journey. He had his surgery 02/20/26, on 02/23/26, he had a CT scan at The Cancer Institute and then had his MRI at Orlando Health that afternoon. After having blood work last week and an appt with my Oncologist, they changed his start date for radiation treatments from 03/04 to now 03/11.  He has another appt Thursday for the radiation oncologist. During his ct scan last week, they gave him three permanent tiny tattoos to mark where the radiation machine will be aiming at.  Victor starts radiation therapy on Wednesday 3/11/26, everyday for 40 days, no weekends.  He’l only be able to work 4 1/2 hours a day while doing radiation. Vic has an oncologist appointment every week, continuing blood work and MRI’s. Praying after this is all completed, he’l be able to continue on with less appointments, however, will have to continue medication and treatments for the rest of his life, due to the spreading and being diagnosed w/stage four cancer. But with everything he’s doing and going through, they said he should be healthy enough to live to an older age. Vic said, “I certainly pray I do, everyday. I try VERY hard to stay POSITIVE and STRONG, but there are days when it’s truly hard and extremely scary for me! Thank you to everyone for your prayers, compassion and support, truly means so much to me and to Ken Brown, we are both forever grateful! I love all of you and I am truly blessed with such amazing support.” 

❄️January Update:

Victor is scheduled to have surgery in the third week of February. Beginning the first week of March, he will start radiation treatments, which will run for 10 weeks, Monday through Friday. He will also continue chemotherapy for a longer period of time. Due to daily radiation treatments, Victor will only be able to work 4 hours a day. The GoFundMe has truly been a tremendous help and continues to make a meaningful difference for him. Victor expresses his gratitude to all of us every single day.

❄️If you work at Disney and would like to give Victor a vacation day or two, call your labor area and have them add it to his bank. Victor will be needing hours to make up for the time he’ll be out for his radiation appointments. (Just another suggestion on how you can help!)

♥️Victor is one of those rare people who leaves a positive mark on everyone he meets. He is kind, generous, hilarious, and deeply loved by so many friends and family who are lucky to know him.  Right now, he is facing serious health challenges. Victor has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostrate cancer.  This has made everyday life much more difficult and has brought unexpected medical and living expenses along too. 

By his side through it all is his devoted partner, Ken, who has been a constant source of strength, love, and support. Together with their beloved dog, Elphie who brings comfort, joy, and unconditional love on even the hardest days they are navigating this incredibly challenging time as a family.
