As everyone who’s close to my family, know about my husband’s current medical emergency! For those who are new to our story…
My husband Victor, was recently diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is a hateful word for me. To this day, I cant wrap my head around that word. Cancer!
Anyone who’s gone thru the confusion, disbelief, anger, frustration, stress, sadness, questioning your own faith and so forth, know how hard times can be before, during and after Chemo.
As a wife to an amazing man, I ask anyone for help in these times of need. I am my husband’s and our two children’s primary caregiver. We live in the Central Valley and our small town (Corcoran ca.) is between Bakersfield ca and Fresno ca. Unfortunately, my husband’s treatment is currently in Los Angeles ca. So that’s about a 3-4 hour drive to his weekly appointments. Roughly 6-8 hour drive each trip. They say Chemo will hit the hardest during the process of healing. Every dollar donated will go towards our family needs like food, gas and bills. My husband was the soul provider to our family and when this medical emergency began, his employer decided to let him go, even before the diagnosis. So yes, it’s been very tough. I’ve learned to manage our financial struggle thanks to family and friends. But as we all know, times will be even tougher as he begins Chemo this week! Once again, thanks to everyone for every prayer, every dollar donated, every personal visit, hospital visit, phone calls, messages and caring for our children as we’ve been apart from them so many times. We truly appreciate you from the bottom of our hearts! No one should be going thru this! NO ONE!!! Especially the good ones! Victor, my husband, has the heart of an innocent soul! GOD IS OUR SAVIOR and GOD BLESS
