Support Victor's Battle Against MS

Victor Florence was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis on January 30, 2024 at the young age of 21. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that causes damage to the protective covering of the nerves of the body and if not treated in a timely manner can become debilitating. It has affected Victor’s back and legs making it hard for him to keep his balance and stand for long periods of time. He has had multiple falls since his diagnosis. Multiple sclerosis tends to worsen overtime. He has been to Dothan multiple times since being diagnosed for check ups and to discuss treatment options.
Victor’s insurance was abruptly cut off by his father a few weeks before treatment was to start. He has new insurance but it is not accepted by the infusion center. Time is of the essence and the longer he waits, the worser he will get. He needs the infusion now to slow the progression of his disease.
Victor is a great father. He has a 21 month old son and is doing all that he can to be an attentive father and co-parent. He is a caring son and brother and makes time to check on his family despite his circumstances. Victor has been working full time with the disease. He has a welding certificate that he wants to use, but this disease has paused him from pursing that life long dream. Becoming a truck driver is another dream Victor wants to pursue.
Assisting Victor in this manner will ensure that he is able to pursue his life long goals and assist in the raising of his son. Multiple infusions are needed and this is a very expensive medication. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
