Victoria Barnes is a 30 year old wife and mom who has two types of Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (HEDS and VEDS)

EDS symptoms that Victoria deals with, connective tissue between joints, vertebrae's, and female organs, Extreme fatigue, dislocations of joints, skin issues, ruptured blood vessels, early onset of arthritis and many more complications.

Victoria has had a rough 2024 and 2025, she has had multiple dislocations and lost most of her mobility. After many falls and extreme pain Victoria uses a walker and needs help with most daily task. She can no longer drive, use stairs, pick up her children and even getting up from a chair, couch or bed without assistance.

Being a mom and wife this has been very challenging for Victoria. She has exhausted all medical help in our area. We have been praying for healing and answers. Thankfully she was accepted into the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville Florida. Mayo clinic has specialist that deal with EDS and they are pretty confident they can give her answers and relief. Victoria has an appointment June 5th. Mayo thinks she will need to be in Jacksonville for about a week. They will schedule a lot of test including a MRI, E-rays, bloodwork, OT and PT evaluations, general medicine, EDS treatment and more. Victoria will see the best specialist that deal with her conditions.

The reason I am creating this Go-Fund me is to help with the expenses of this trip. Victoria and her husband Brett will need air line tickets from Springfield to Jacksonville, car rental, food and lodging. Brett will also need to take a week off work. Brett has no PTO at this time. He has used up his acquired time to care for Victoria and take her to appointments. As Brett is the only one with an income this week of not working will cause them financially hardship. I am hoping to raise enough money to take some of this burden off of Brett and Victoria.

This is an opportunity we have prayed for Victoria to get relief and answers to why over the last 8 months her health has deteriorated so much. Being accepted into Mayo is the best blessing but also this is causing much stress on how to pay for the trip.
