Support Victoria’s Health and Healing During Chemo

Hello, hello my name is Anna, and I’ve been so lucky to call Victoria my friend for more than two decades. During this incredibly challenging time of diagnoses and treatments, fellow friends of Victoria and I would love to help mitigate financial stress, to allow her to channel all her physical, emotional, and mental energy toward her health and healing.

If you’ve been fortunate enough to be in her proximity through the years, you know her incredible ability to support and care for others— whether through the ability to give you genuine laughter on the worst day of your life, her magical work as a massage therapist, or her extensive volunteer work and fostering of pitbull pups in the tri-state area. Her ability to calm, care, and heal others is nothing short of miraculous, and this fundraiser hopes to assist her in prioritizing her own health and healing.

In October of 2025, Victoria noticed swelling in her abdomen. Having just experienced the loss of her beloved pup, Beans, she chalked the inflammation up to cortisol from stress and grief. The swelling increased through the holidays, and by January, escalated to the point of emergency medical attention. While at the ER, the gyno-oncologist discovered a 30x33x24cm mass.

On March 11, Victoria had surgery to remove the mass and exploratory in nature to discover the extent of impact. The surgery necessitated an incision the entire length of her abdomen, in which the original mass, one ovary, one fallopian tube, her appendix, and a cyst on her other ovary. Despite the incision being the full length of her abdomen, the larger cyst burst during removal.

Victoria was not doing well under anesthesia, and medical personnel were not able to stage properly for further exploratory procedure, and so concluded surgery without complete diagnoses.

Biopsy of the cysts revealed the smaller cyst to be benign, and 8% of the larger cyst to be cancerous. As a result of this, she has been prescribed six rounds of chemo.

Her chemo port was placed in her chest on April 16th, and She began round one of chemo on Monday, the 27th.

As for the cancer itself, under a microscope, it appears to be colorectal cancer, which then requires Victoria to have upper and lower endoscopies and the possible colonoscopy. A nodule was also discovered on her breast during a CT scan, that requires further testing.
In addition to this, Victoria will need genetic testing to determine if she should undergo a preventative hysterectomy and to determine frequency of cancer screenings.

The cost of ongoing diagnostics and treatments add up quickly, and the the full scope of costs are likely to evolve through the process and the unknowns.

The initial goal is to assist with the original wave of surgery and diagnostics.

If you have the ability to donate or share— please do!

On behalf of Victoria’s loved ones (and Victoria, herself, despite extreme hesitance to allow a GoFundMe in her name,) thank you so much your support!
