Hi! My name is Victoria and I'm raising money to put myself through a summer medical program at Rice University so that I can gain experience in the field and make myself a more competitive candidate for colleges. I know my cause may seem insignificant compared to the tragic events on this site, but this program means the world to me. I was invited to participate in the program because of my exceptional grades in my health and career pathways class. Completing the program will give me 2 college credits and give me hands on experience in the medical field. I value my education immensely, and I want to succeed in life. I want to take care of those who have taken care of me, and I have big dreams.

The program costs about $6,000, and I have to pay for the flight there and my chaperone's flight. As well as a rental car, and a hotel room for my chaperone for 8 days. I am also trying to sell my crochet creations to earn money. (My crochet website) The program is in early June, and I am trying my hardest to make it.
