My name is Victoria & I'm a small artist from Los Angeles. I've done pop art style stencil paintings on vinyl records for about a decade now. It mostly started out as just something fun to do & to make art for myself & my sister.

We love horror movies & go to horror conventions every year. At those conventions, we would bring my paintings to get signed by our favorite actors.

Only recently did I start thinking about vending at these horror conventions to share my art with others that enjoy it as well. This past year I worked my first convention, Monsterpalooza. It was a huge learning experience & while I didn't make a ton of sales I learned a lot. I went on to do two other shows this year & those gave me even more learning opportunities.

I'm looking for ways to expand my business & myself. I invested in a LED neon sign that I will be taking to conventions with me next year.

This is where things get difficult. While I've had so much fun working these conventions this past year, it hasn't been a sustainable journey thus far. I have yet to break even on the table costs of going to these events. There are a handful of conventions I'd love to try out next year to see where I really fit in, but those come at their own cost.

I just wanted to start this fundraiser to try to get some help to further expand my dreams. Making art is something that fills me with the most joy. Right now it's just a hobby, but I hope one day to do it in a way to support myself & my family.
