Hello everyone, my name is Victoria Edlan. If you know me personally, you know that I am usually very hesitant to ask people for help. However, recent events have been difficult to navigate through lately.

Last month, my grandfather, Nathaniel, was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. I had heard about his condition from my dad, also pictured above. My grandfather currently lives in the Philippines with the rest of our family. We are unsure how much time he has left, but I know the survival rate for this stage of cancer is very low. I know that my dad keeps reassuring me that he is okay, saying that he's accepted that whatever happens, will happen, but I also would like for him to be able to see his dad again before it is too late. I know that deep down, my dad aches for his father and wants to see him again. Unfortunately, my dad is hesitant to go travel back home because we are currently struggling with our bills and he thinks it would be too much of a burden financially to be able to see him. My dad has always been supportive of me, my family, and dropped everything just to be there for us in any way possible. I want to do this for my dad and for my grandfather in hopes of repaying them in some way for all of their sacrifices and support.
