Hi, this is Brooke Yetter, a close friend of Victoria Ortiz. I offered to start a GoFundMe for her, as I know her bills are starting to rack up, as she has been hospitalized since December 4th now, is unable to work, and is without insurance. For those of you who do not know, Victoria was diagnosed with B cell Lymphoma on December 13th and began treatment on December 14th. Victoria is one of the strongest people I know in her faith and in her motivation and persistence. She is determined to fight this battle with all she's got. Victoria has spent her life in public service, and it is my hope and prayer that we can help ease some of her financial burden while she is trying to get started on insurance. Most of all, Victoria would love prayer for healing. She would also love any home cooked meals, as hospital food gets old fast! While she appreciates plants and flowers, she is unfortunately unable to have them in her hospital room due to the risk of mold growing in the vases and soil. We've totaled the bills she has so far this month to about $10,000, and I will continue to update the amount as she receives more.
