Our family is raising funds for Victor Paz, who was admitted to the hospital on April 15 after experiencing stroke-like symptoms. Since then, he has suffered multiple mini strokes and a major severe ischemic stroke affecting the posterior (back) part of his brain, with multiple areas involved, while in the hospital. He has remained in the ICU through this incredibly difficult journey and is still being closely monitored in the neurology monitoring unit. Once stable, Victor will be discharged to an acute rehabilitation center for continued care, rehabilitation, and physical therapy as he begins the long road to recovery.
