On Saturday, November 1st, on what was supposed to be a day of celebration for the Herrera Family, an accident occurred. 14-year-old Victor suffered a head injury following a traumatic fall. By the grace of God and the fast instincts of close relatives, he was taken by ambulance to the hospital and immediately taken into surgery to relieve pressure in his head. Since then, he has undergone a second surgery to remove a portion of his skull to relieve more pressure. With major improvements in his status, he is currently in Critical Care, and family and friends are hopeful he will keep making progress. His road to recovery will be long and we ask for thoughts, prayers, and if possible, donations to help with medical expenses, travel to and from the hospital, and any additional financial hardships that may arise. The Herrera family will also be welcoming another baby boy into their family in December, and his mother, can only take a couple of weeks off work, so this fund will also help supplement the time she, brother Nathaniel, and her Husband will need to focus on recovery.
