We are the owners of a pick your own apple orchard, Burtt's Apple Orchard, in Cabot, Vermont. The last four years we have had Victor and Sheldon come to work at our farm for almost 8 months of the year with the H2A program. We normally hope that by the time they go home they can relax some, catch up with their wonderful families and also work on their own farms. Hurricane Melissa hit the island of Jamaica hard recently and miraculously the guys were able to catch a flight home this weekend. This time they will be going home to the task of helping put their homes, farms and businesses back together, as well as their neighbors and family members.

Our family went to visit them in their homes last year and we were blown away by how welcoming they were and how even in difficult situations they get done what needs to be done and they do it together. None of us are an island though and while they did not ask for any help we wanted to see if their American community could lend a hand to these two amazingly gentle, hard working men and their families.

Any donations would be appreciated and 100% will be split between Victor and Sheldon. Thank you so much!
