Hay momentos en los que una comunidad tiene la oportunidad de unirse para apoyar a alguien que siempre ha estado dispuesto a ayudar a los demás. Hoy ese momento es para nuestro amigo y compañero, Víctor Acosta, conocido con cariño como “el Cuate.”

Después de años luchando contra una enfermedad renal, Víctor finalmente tiene la oportunidad de recibir un trasplante de riñón que le dará una segunda oportunidad de vida. Aunque cuenta con seguro médico, no toda la cirugía está cubierta además se que existen muchos gastos adicionales relacionados con el procedimiento, la recuperación y el tiempo que deberá permanecer fuera del trabajo.

Víctor es miembro activo del equipo de Hijos Ausentes de Camichines y líder del comité Santa Cruz de Tepetate. Siempre ha estado dispuesto a colaborar en actividades, proyectos y causas en beneficio de nuestro pueblo. Hoy nos toca a nosotros devolverle un poco de todo ese cariño, compromiso y generosidad que siempre ha brindado.

Support Víctor Acosta During His Kidney Transplant Journey ❤️

There are moments when a community has the opportunity to come together and support someone who has always been willing to help others. Today, that person is our friend and teammate, Víctor Acosta, affectionately known as "El Cuate."

After years of battling kidney disease, Víctor has finally been given the opportunity to receive a kidney transplant, a life-changing procedure that offers him a second chance at life. While he does have medical insurance, not all of the costs associated with the surgery are covered. In addition, there will be significant expenses related to medical care, medications, travel, recovery, and the time he will be unable to work while focusing on healing.

Víctor is an active member of Hijos Ausentes de Camichines and a leader of the Santa Cruz de Tepetate Committee. He has always been willing to dedicate his time, energy, and heart to projects and causes that benefit our community. Today, it is our turn to support him and give back a small portion of the kindness, commitment, and generosity he has shown to so many.
