Support Victor Abundis

The Turnify family and hospitality world has lost a true gem. Victor Abundis was one of the strongest people we've ever met, but after years of battling cancer, it was his time. It's hard to describe the amount of good Victor put into the world, he was the type of guy that always put others before himself, every single day. Many times, Vic would be responding to his team in the middle of his chemo treatments, even though we begged him not to, simply so that they wouldn't go a few minutes without his support. Vic came to us in early 2019 as an assistant manager of a hotel in Chicago, he showed up on his first day to a brand new team, brand new role, and brand new environment. In classic Vic fashion, he didn't miss a beat, he jumped in and made every day count. Fast forward 2 years later, and Victor was overseeing nearly 30 markets across the US, and became the utmost expert in the space. Everyone looked up to Vic, from his deep expertise, to his ability to treat everyone with the same respect, he was an amazing human. At Turnify, our staff is like family, and Vic was no different. As a matter of fact, if you've ever met Vic in person, he made you feel like you'd known each other forever, he was just that type of guy. What I'll miss most about Vic is the late night calls we would have, talking about life, the industry, family, and of course all things Chicago. Vic, we love you brother and while we are saddened by your loss, we know you and your mom are having a big old feast right now catching up on life. We'll forever hold a spot for you in our Turnify family, as you are one of the reasons the company sits where it does today, and we'll never forget it. May God bless the Abundis family, and may our dear Vic rest peacefully.
This campaign is being used to show our resounding support for Vic's family, in a time where funeral costs are at an all time high. All proceeds will go directly to the Abundis family.
