We’re Linsey and Kevin, and we are supporting the Mukthi Bike Challenge 2025 – a powerful initiative to raise awareness and funds for Oasis India’s frontline work combatting human trafficking and modern slavery specifically in the red light area of in Mumbai.

What is Occurring?

From November 8th to 15th, a team will be traveling up the west coast of India on Enfield Bullets and in other various support vehicles, joining forces with local university teams and holding awareness events in towns and villages along known trafficking routes. The team will be engaging with schools, law enforcement, faith leaders, the media, and government officials – shining a light on a dark issue that affects some of the most vulnerable.

Why It Matters

Oasis India and the team in Mumbai provide vital services to those impacted by trafficking and modern day slavery – including care centres, education and awareness programs, and job skills training. This work transforms lives, helping survivors find freedom, hope, and a sustainable future.

As many of you know, the Potter family once lived and worked in India. Our daughter was born in Mumbai, and we’ve seen firsthand the dedication of the team in Mumbai. These aren’t just distant stories – they’re personal to us.

How You Can Help

We’re aiming to raise at least £3,000 to support Oasis India as it partners with those caught in modern day slavery. The funds raised will go towards the goal of the Mukthi Bike challenge, which is to support survivors of human trafficking through existing life-changing initiatives, that protect and empower vulnerable people of all ages.
