Stephen Ogilvie, 44, is fighting for his life in hospital after suffering knife wounds to his face, neck and back during an attack in Belfast in Monday night, with the man believed to be blind in one eye.

The community have called there to be a fundraiser set up to support Stephen and his family after the brutal attack leaving him in a serious condition in hospital. 

The “Hero of Belfast” Maitui Mag Tighearnan who stepped in with his Hurley bat to put an end to the attack has pledged to donate £10,000 to the victim directly through this fundraiser (after the community raised a significant ammount of money for him for his heroic efforts on a previous fundraiser).

Niall Donnan & Matt have set up this fundraiser together after amazing support & love was shown to Matt, and we would like to pass on this kindness and support to the victim of the attack.
