Please help! I am asking for help for my friend, Vicky Valencia, and her dog, Jasper, who have been displaced by the Eaton Canyon Fire in Altadena, CA, and need our support.
Vicky is currently without a home. She cannot return there due to the wildfire devastation. The financial hardship and uncertainty of this have affected her work, costs of living, mental health, and ability to support the most vulnerable populations with whom she works.
The GoFundMe funds will be used for rent and rental deposit on a new apartment, and to replace furniture, rugs, small appliances, paper files, books, bedding, towels, TV screen, some clothing, dog bed, and all household items.
Vicky is an Associate Clinical Social Worker, MSW, who has dedicated her life to helping others. Currently, she is the Outreach Program Manager for a non-profit agency that helps with Pasadena’s homeless population. She has dedicated her life for the past 7 years to case managing and providing therapy to the most vulnerable populations. She is also a qualified natural foods chef, a Kushi Institute graduate, where I observed her compassion and dedication to help others in desperate need.
This past week, Vicky was able to re-enter her apartment and discovered that her residence and neighborhood in Altadena are not habitable or safe. She had blood from her nose and fiberglass in her eye after her last visit there. Let’s help Vicky with this difficult situation so she can find a new home and start a new life. She is open to new opportunities. Your suggestions and contributions are greatly appreciated. Please donate and share our link, thank you!
