Hi everyone, I am Vicki's husband, Larry. As many of you are aware, Vicki was diagnosed almost 3 years ago with FTD (Frontal Temporal Dementia). This is a terminal illness. At the time of her diagnosis, the neurologist told us she had 6 to 7 years. We were told there was nothing they could do. We did go to Mexico the first year of her diagnosis, and she did stem cell treatment. This seemed to help some. The only thing her doctors here at home suggested was to go somewhere in the winter where there is lots of sun. The sun gives natural vitamin D, which is very good for the brain. So, we do go to Arizona in the winter months.

We had planned on her doing stem cell again last year, but we just didn't have the funds to do it. So, this year, we are trying to raise funds for it. Vicki learns basket making in Arizona, and we both started doing Texas longhorn European mounts. We are offering them for sale to help raise the funds for her treatment.
