My sister, Vicki, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in February, 2025 - a rare and extremely aggressive form of breast cancer.
Vicki is a devoted mother to three beautiful daughters—Madison (7), Eden (4), and Wynn (1) making an amazing team with her husband, Mike.
Vicki has dedicated herself to the community as a public middle school Band Director. She and Mike have spent over fifteen years deeply involved in the Twin Cities music community, with Mike also teaching band and orchestra throughout his career. Together, they’ve given so much of themselves to others through their shared love of education and music.
Despite the pain and uncertainty, Vicki continues to show extraordinary strength and grace. Even after undergoing surgery for her chemo port and now multiple rounds of treatment, she continues to care for her girls—celebrating birthdays, supporting her daughters’ activities, cooking family meals, and managing the day-to-day routines of a young and busy household. Her love and resilience are truly unmatched.
Their home has always been full of love, laughter, and music—a joyful place filled with activity and care for their three girls. But this diagnosis has turned their world upside down.
Vicki was initially preparing to join a clinical trial, facing years of intensive treatment, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. You can find updates on her current treatment journey on her blog.
Alongside this emotional and physical journey, the family now faces a significant financial burden.
We are asking for your support. Any donation—big or small—will help cover:

- Professional cleaning services to ease the daily load
- A mobile cat groomer (yes, even the pets need love!)
- Family activities and resources for the girls
