Help a Single Mother of Three Facing Breast Cancer
Our dear friend, sister, and mom, Vicki (Adamo) Nardo, is a 53-year-old single mother of three — including twin boys who are sophomores in high school that have been dealing with PANDAS for the past 2.5 years, a disorder that can cause severe neurological, physical, and psychological symptoms that require ongoing treatment and care. Her oldest son is currently in college.
Vicki was recently diagnosed with stage 2 metastatic invasive ductal carcinoma, a life-altering moment that has brought unimaginable stress to an already full plate. Despite it all, she continues to show up each day for her children with unwavering love, strength, and resilience.
Now, she needs our help.
After over a month of exhausting and complex testing, Vicki is preparing for surgery — the first step in her treatment plan. Her surgical team will remove as much of the cancer as possible, depending on how aggressively it has spread. From there, she may undergo chemotherapy, radiation, and/or immunotherapy.
Navigating this diagnosis has been emotionally and financially overwhelming. Initial insurance statements show that testing alone has already exceeded $20,000, and full treatment is expected to cost well into the hundreds of thousands. While insurance will cover part of the cost, the remaining financial burden is still significant.
Your donation will help support:
- Medical expenses related to her diagnosis and treatment
- Transportation and daily living needs
- Care-related support for her twin boys
- Household bills while she focuses on healing and her family
Any amount, no matter how small, can make a real difference. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this page or sending words of encouragement means the world.
Let’s surround Vicki with the love and support she’s always given so freely to others. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
