I'm Sharon Gordon, a long-time friend of Vicki.
She found out recently that she has been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive breast cancer that has spread to at least her lymph nodes. She will have more test results to be reviewed by an oncologist within two days to see the extent of the spread in her body. She has three children, two minors who live with her (same ages as my own dear children!) and depend on her.
While we hope and pray she has years and decades to come, the truth is, she may not.
Her biggest ask is that her kids be protected, loved, and taken care of.
She has 100% legal, custodial care of her children.
For those who understand, she has invasive and metastatic pleomorphic lobular carcinoma (HER2 3+).
