Support Vickie Rubio’s Recovery After Two Life-Saving Heart Procedures
Dear friends, family, and compassionate souls,
We’re writing today on behalf of a loving mother, devoted wife, and truly incredible woman—Vickie Rubio, age 34—who is facing the fight of her life after undergoing two emergency heart procedures just 48 hours apart.
For months, Vickie had been struggling with symptoms that no one could explain—fatigue, shortness of breath, and an overwhelming sense that something wasn’t right. Finally, after extensive testing, doctors discovered the cause: her mitral valve was severely damaged, and she was told she would not survive without immediate open-heart surgery.
On that day, Vickie was given a terrifying choice—undergo a complex, high-risk procedure to replace her mitral valve, or face the heartbreaking reality of only having an estimated two years left to live. With three children and a husband who love her beyond measure, she made the courageous decision to fight for her life.
Just 48 hours after her valve replacement, Vickie’s heart began struggling to regulate its rhythm. Doctors had no choice but to act quickly once again. She was rushed into a second emergency procedure—this time, to have a pacemaker inserted to help her heart beat properly.
Thanks to the skilled hands of her medical team and the grace of God, Vickie survived both surgeries. But the battle is far from over.
Vickie is now in the early stages of a long and difficult recovery. She cannot work, and her husband is doing everything he can to support her and care for their children, while also trying to hold their household together. But the financial burden has become overwhelming. Between hospital bills, the costs of surgery, medication, physical therapy, follow-up care, and basic living expenses, this young family is being pushed to the brink.
That’s why we’re turning to our community—to you—for help.
Every single donation will go directly toward Vickie’s medical expenses and helping her family stay afloat during this incredibly difficult time. Whether it’s $10 or $100, no amount is too small. And if you can’t donate, please share her story. Your kindness, your prayers, and your support could make all the difference.
Vickie has always been the kind of person who gives everything she has to others—her time, her love, her strength. Now, she needs us.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting the Rubio family.
With deep gratitude,
