Hi, my name is Vickie. I am a nurse of 24 years. I have dedicated my life to saving my patients with no hesitations. On July 9, 2025, I was diagnosed with a meningioma brain mass, a fairly large one. It's hard for me for many reasons.

1. I won't be able to go to work and be there for my patients. That truly bothers my soul.

2. I live paycheck to paycheck like most. I don't have any time saved up to get me through a 12-week leave from work. I don't have enough money to help through.

I have my grandkids living in my home. It's only my children and grandchildren here in Arizona, and I am the breadwinner for my family. I am a very prideful person; I would rather give than receive. But I am trying to prepare before surgery. I need to focus on my health. I don't know what I am going to do, but I am putting all my faith in God that everything works out.

I really need to be stress-free; this is a major surgery I have to have. Brain surgery, wow! It's a hard, large pill that I have to try to swallow. I really want to save in advance. I know times are hard, but if you can help in any way, this will truly help my family just to get over this hump. Once surgery is complete, this will give me time to focus on surgery and then life (bills and things of that sort).

The need of help is to pay rent bills and supply food for at least 12 weeks. This will help until I am back to work. With the will of God I will make it through this with no problems. I have full Faith in God.

1. Rent- $1700 a month = $5100

2 food for my teenage daughter and 4 grandchildren= $900

3 needs for my teenage daughter and grandkids

( personal and hygiene needs)- $300-$400

4. Things to assist with what I may need- $300

Total- $6700

I'm so sorry to have ask for help, but I honestly don't know how I am going to get through this. I am all my 14 year old daughter has. I live paycheck to paycheck. With no check, no home. All I care about is a roof being over our head, food for nutrients, my baby and grandkids having what they need. ( And I thank God they understand and only expect the necessities) And if I need anything there will be something there. I'm only thinking of 12 weeks, the allotted time off work. I found out I will be having brain surgery in October. Off work for the entire duration. I have no resources to help pay rent, lights, gas, water, food etc. PLEASE HELP ME AND MY 14 YEAR OLD AND GRANDKIDS TO SURVIVE WITHOUT BEING PUT OUT OF OUR HOME. AND KEEP UTILITIES ON. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
