Vicente Calderon suffered from heart issues at the beginning of August when he was rushed to the hospital to have emergency heart surgery. Afterwards he has been in ICU working towards recovery. This past Friday on 8/16 Vicente was having trouble breathing and had liquid around his heart and lungs. The Drs did another surgery.

Vicente is the owner of Vicente's Patch, a small farm in Sonoma County. He sells his produce at local farmers markets. Currently his family is operating the farm and selling at markets but they are also spending a lot of time at the hospital to help support Vicente's recovery.

I am creating this Go Fund Me to help the family and Vicente during this challenging time. I operate farmers' markets in Marin and Sonoma County and have known Vicente for 15 years. He has always shown up with a smile on his face and the most beautiful produce. The pride he takes in his work shows how much he loves farming.

As you can imagine this is a hard time for him and his family. Any funds that you can contribute is a great help. Remember there is no small amount. Every little bit will help the road to recovery for Vicente.
