Urgent support for Vianney and family
On Friday, September 18, Vianney was detained by ICE in the Tacoma-Seattle area and is now being held pending deportation to Africa. This fundraiser is being organized by Marie Abijuru for Vianney, his wife Edith, and their three children, ages 20, 18, and 16. Vianney has lived in the United States for 28 years and is deeply rooted in the community, both socially and professionally. His detention has placed an enormous emotional and practical burden on his family, who are now facing an urgent and frightening situation while trying to understand what can be done next.
The funds raised will help Vianney’s family consult and work with a lawyer to understand their options and pursue possible legal action to halt his deportation. Right now, the family needs support to take immediate steps and get the legal guidance they need during this difficult time. If you are able, please consider contributing to help Vianney’s family navigate this crisis. Just as importantly, please share this fundraiser with others who may be willing to help. Every act of support can make a real difference for Vianney, Edith, and their children.
