Support Vex's Urgent Move to Safety

My name is Vex. I am 25 years old, living in Battle Ground, WA with my father. This is not something I ever thought I would have to make or do; however, the evening of 6/25/25, an argument broke out after informing him of my aunts passing that same morning, my father made extremely grotesque comments about my fiancée, who is transgender. As I could not stand for that, I stood up for myself verbally. That resulted in him screaming at me, followed by him physically attacking me, getting on top of me and striking my face multiple times, in which he got arrested and taken into custody. This man has a history of violence towards women, as he has laid hands on my sister, gave my mother a black eye, and now attacked me. He is not safe for me to be around, as I am LGBTQA+, and need to leave ASAP. As this is a very sudden altercation, my plan for moving out previously is no longer viable, and I am asking for my friends' and community's support in this matter. I have an elderly cat I cannot leave behind, and my fiancée has had to take time off work to aid me in this, so this has made it difficult. I appreciate you taking this time to read, thank you.

UPDATE 7/9/25: I have found a place to stay that is safe, any further donations will go towards moving expenses like U-Haul, apartment fees, etc. Thank you all for your support
