Jimmy Green passed away on January 1, 2026. One of his greatest passions was pool, and he could often be found playing two to three times a week at his favorite billiards hall, Island Breakers.
To celebrate his life and honor his memory, we invite you to join us for a Scotch Doubles tournament on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Island Breakers (950 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953). Max skill level of 1000 Fargo or 11 APA. Please note that races are 4/3 if full, or 5/4 if under 20.
Please complete this form (https://forms.gle/ckci9mehpU6E9cVRA) to register for the upcoming tournament. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project in Jimmy’s name.
The registration fee is $60, with $30 benefiting veterans and $30 going toward the prize pot. Please pay by Venmo, Zelle, or cash. Message Island Breakers for more information about payment.
If you're unable to participate in the tournament, you can still support. Jimmy was a survivor. He served as a medic in Vietnam and was exposed to Agent Orange. For the last 16 years of his life, he suffered daily from that exposure, ultimately passing from complications.
In memory of Jimmy, we're raising money to support other survivors and heroes and donating to the Wounded Warriors Project.
