Support Veterans Helping Fire Victims

I am a Navy veteran of two wars. My American Legion Post 283 is located in Pacific Palisades where more than 1000 homes were destroyed by a ferocious fire storm driven by hurricane force winds. We veterans of the #283 are focused on providing food, personal care items, and school supplies to families whose homes have vanished. It is our way of helping families make a first step on their very long journey back to the secure and normal lives they lost.
