Support Vet Care for Bottle-Baby Kittens Found in Heat Wave

Hi everyone,

We’re fundraising to help cover medical expenses for five tiny kittens—just 3 to 4 weeks old—who were found on Ehren’s construction site during last week’s intense heat wave. A few days earlier, a deceased cat was discovered on the property, likely their mother. These babies were found alone in a bush, struggling in 96° heat.

We immediately gave them water and food and hoped their mom would return, but after a few hours with no sign of her, we knew we had to step in. I rushed the smallest one to the vet for evaluation, where we learned they’re still at the bottle-feeding stage and far too young to survive on their own.

With our local shelter currently on intake hold due to a lack of fosters, we decided to take them in ourselves. We quickly got formula, set up a safe room, and reached out to my sister-in-law (an experienced foster) for guidance.

Since then, the kittens have been adjusting beautifully. They eat well, play, purr, and loudly demand cuddles whenever we check in. They’re already stealing our hearts—one bottle at a time.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Just the initial vet visit for the weakest kitten cost $67—and that’s without vaccines or future care. With five kittens, we know there will be many more appointments in the coming weeks to ensure they’re healthy, gaining weight, and ready for forever homes.

We’re committed to giving them the best possible start, but the costs add up quickly. Your support will help cover:

Vet visits, vaccinations, deworming, and other medical needs

Emergency care, should anything unexpected arise

Food, formula, and other daily necessities
