In January 2026, our lives changed in an instant. Our beloved grandfather, Ver, was struck by a motorcycle driven at high speed by a young rider. What should have been an ordinary day became the beginning of a long and painful journey—not only for him, but for our entire family.

The accident left him with severe injuries, including a fractured spine. Since then, he has endured countless hospital visits and has been admitted eight times in just five months due to ongoing complications. Each hospitalization has brought new challenges, and every day has been a battle to overcome the pain and setbacks.

Before the accident, our grandfather was a strong, loving, and devoted husband. Even in his senior years, he was the one who took care of our grandmother every single day. He made sure she was cared for, helped with the household, and was always by her side whenever she needed him. He never complained because caring for his family was something he did with love.

Since the accident, everything has changed. His health has steadily declined, and the man who once cared for everyone now needs constant care himself. It has been heartbreaking to watch him lose the strength and independence he once had. Seeing him go through so much pain is something no family is ever prepared for, but we remain hopeful and continue to stand beside him every step of the way.

In May 2026, he underwent major spinal surgery in the hope of relieving his pain and giving him a chance to regain his quality of life. We prayed that this would be a turning point in his recovery, but the road has remained incredibly difficult.

Most recently, he had to undergo another emergency surgery after doctors discovered a hole in his intestines. Watching someone we love so deeply endure so much pain has been heartbreaking. The strong, caring, and hardworking man who has always been there for our family is now facing the greatest fight of his life.

As a family, we are doing everything we can to support him. We continue to hold on to hope, pray for his healing, and stand by his side every step of the way. However, the financial burden of repeated hospitalizations, surgeries, medications, and ongoing medical care has become overwhelming.
