About Veronika

If you know Veronika, you know her as the heart of our mountain community. She is a

passionate trainer, mentor, and friend who pours her energy into others—whether it’s

coaching young athletes, motivating adults, or organizing free community workouts. She

has built her life around movement, connection, and helping others thrive.

The Accident

On August 2nd, Veronika’s love for mountain biking turned into a terrifying accident. A

crash left her with severe injuries: a broken jaw, multiple broken and missing teeth, and a

broken hand. What should have been another joyful day on the bike has instead become an

uphill battle of surgeries, dental work, and recovery.

Medical Costs So Far

Already, Veronika has faced over $9,500 in out-of-pocket medical expenses. And the journey

is far from over.

What’s Still Ahead (Dental Care)

The most urgent and expensive part of her recovery will be restoring her smile and function

through dental care:

• Three new teeth (implants/bridges): $9,000–$12,000

• Two root canals: $3,000–$4,000

• Additional follow-up dental work: $2,000+

Estimated total for dental care: $15,000–$18,000

Why We’re Fundraising

Veronika has always been the first to show up for others—with encouragement, guidance,

medical and dental bills and give her the chance to heal fully and return to doing what she

does best: inspiring others through movement and community.
