Veronica was diagnosed with metastatic unclassified renal cell carcinoma, a rare cancer for which there is no cure, in June 2022. Only 8 months after her son Austin was diagnosed with cancer. She is by far one of the strongest and most genuine people I know! She struggles to feel well most days, but she has NO quit in her. She does amazing to tackle each day ahead and tries not to let cancer hold her back from making memories with her family and friends. She has always had a servant’s heart. Veronica was in the Navy active duty from '91-'94. Then she was in the reserves from '01-'13 and was deployed in '10-'11. Afterward, she went to school to become an RN while raising her two kids (now grown) on her own and obtained her RN in 2017. She loved being a nurse and caring for others and had to take disability when working on her last unit in Oncology.
Please help Veronica in her battle against cancer. She is loved dearly by so many and anything helps and will make an impact! All the funds will help with medical bills, clinical trials, surgeries, etc.
