This past weekend 6/27-6/29 we competed at our Regional meet, which is a National qualifier! 8 athletes placed in the top 5 events and OFFICIALLY made it to the Junior Olympics! This is HUGE!

Verona Velocity is headed for the AAU Junior Olympics — and we need your help getting there!

We’re a youth track and field club based in Verona, NJ, built on big dreams, relentless effort, and a mission to empower young athletes to reach their fullest potential. After a breakout first season, several of our athletes have qualified — or are just one race away — from earning a spot at the AAU Junior Olympic Games in Houston, Texas, this July and August.

Now we need your help to cross the finish line.

Our Challenge:

Travel and lodging expenses are steep. For each family, the estimated cost of attending the Junior Olympics is $5,500 — covering flights, hotel, meals, ground transportation, and event fees.

We’re aiming to raise at least $20,000 to support qualifying families — ensuring that finances are never the reason a child misses this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Why This Matters:

These kids have trained relentlessly all season, often sacrificing weekends and evenings to pursue their goals.

Next week, we'll be traveling to Connecticut to participate in a 3-day meet for Regionals. Top 5 athletes in each event move onto Junior Olympics. We're so close!

For many, this will be their first national championship — and a chance to shine on one of the biggest stages in youth sports.

We’ll confirm the total number of qualifying families after the regional meet next weekend — but every dollar raised now gives us a head start to secure flights and hotels in a short timeframe.
