On the night of November 15th Vern and Alex stepped out after a fun evening of D&D gaming time and ventured to a comedy club. The night went well and laughs were in abundance until the night turned very dark. Vern heard racist talk from a man and spoke out. Unbeknownst to him this man and his friends were looking for a unfair fight.

We are now just shy of two weeks later and after doctors visits, x-rays, and missed work due to 5 fractured ribs we are looking for a little help. Due to the type of work Vern does he is unable to return to work for 2-3 months. While his job is secure the bills are mounting.
