Support Vera's Life-Saving Surgery

As many of you know, my dog Vera is my best friend and baby. I rescued her 8 years ago when I was only 20 years old. She has been my rock through many life-changing events and hardships throughout the years. She has always been a healthy girl and only needed to see the vet for routine vaccines and cleanings.

This last December, she was taken in for her dental cleaning, and I had reported that she had been randomly coughing recently. After taking a chest X-ray, we discovered a tumor in her right lung. After diagnostic testing, it has been confirmed it is pulmonary carcinoma. Many of you also know that I am a full-time student in dental school, and because of that, I am struggling to pay her vet bills and future treatment. I want to be able to provide her with treatment that will fight this cancer and extend her life as long as possible. It has not metastasized, so surgery would be her best option. Unfortunately, I only have insurance that covers preventative care.

If you have ever met Vera, you know that she is the sweetest, most gentle, and most loving dog, and I want to continue to keep her in my life in the best health possible for as long as possible.
