Support Vera's Battle Against Cancer

This is Vera. She is 4 years old and had a mass that grew under her spine. We had the mass removed on Feb 27th and sent it for biopsy. It came back as a soft tissue sarcoma, at the higher level of cancer, and was rapidly growing.

On March 29th, I noticed a small bump on her back in the same spot the large mass was and took her back to our vet at Companion Animal Clinic. They agreed that there was some tissue left around her spine, and because it is too risky for another surgery, they sent her to the Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center to an oncologist.

She started chemo injections today, April 2nd.

I love my girl more than myself and will do anything to make her better. She is far too young and happy to not try and give her a little longer with life.
