My name is Stacy. I am a volunteer for Stay Wild Rescue in Trumansburg, NY. I have been a teacher at Trumansburg Elementary for over 20 years. I also teach summer school at TST BOCES. A dog I was fostering and eventually adopted, Vera Wang Has been diagnosed with trauma induced TMJ. Basically, unknown to us, she had a broken jaw that didn’t heal properly and her lower jaw fused to her skull. She can no longer open her jaw. Very well. I food process all of her food, but it takes her about an hour to eat a cup and 1/3 of food at each meal. She has to eat three times a day to maintain her current weight.

she is getting surgery at Cornell University on April 9th under an amazing team of specialists.
