Hi everyone,
Let me share a little about my passion for tennis. My name is Vera Pantovic, a 11-year-old striving to reach the pinnacle of this sport. Currently, I am ranked number 1 in Alabama and within the top 15 players nationally for my age. Winning the US Open is my ultimate dream, but to get there, I need your help!
Tennis isn’t just about the game; it’s a commitment, and unfortunately, it comes with hefty costs. My family, although middle class, sacrifices a lot so I can compete. My dad coaches me, drawing from his own experiences as an immigrant from Yugoslavia, and my mom is the backbone of my education and emotional support. We’ve traveled across the globe, competing in prestigious tournaments, yet the financial burden remains challenging.
