Help Support Venus' Fight Against FIP.
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
This is Venus, our brave and loving little fighter. Recently, she was diagnosed with FIP — a heartbreaking and once-considered fatal disease. But thanks to recent advances in treatment, there is now real hope. With the right medication and care, cats are beating FIP and going on to live full, happy lives.
Venus is young, sweet, resilient, and has so much love left to give. The treatment is intensive and costly — running hundreds of dollars over the course of several weeks. We’re doing everything we can, but we need your help to give Venus a real shot at life.
All funds raised will go directly to Venus’ life-saving medication, vet visits, blood work, and supportive care. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to healing her.
Please help us fight for Venus. Share, donate, or send your love — it all means the world.
Treatment is 84 days and then there’s an 84 day observation period.
•FIP Medication: $ 400-$1,000
•Bloodwork: $323 (x4)
-Bloodwork needs to be done every 4 weeks then once after observation period is complete.
•Vet Exam Fee: $80 (x4)
I have attached a few receipts above.
One is for the first vet, second one is another vet I went to for a second opinion. The first veterinarian we consulted recommended euthanasia, but I felt I needed to see if she had a chance to fight first.
Initial Vet: $570.90
Second Vet: $70
Curtner Vet: $372.95
Med Costs so far: $267 +$260 = $527
Total as of May 20th = 1,540.85
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
*Update (5/20): I wanted to share an update on little Venus.
I'm so happy to report that just three days after starting her treatment, we saw significant improvement! Now, a month later, little Venus is running around the house and playing with the other kittens. She's eating on her own and has so much more energy.
I am incredibly grateful for her progress and feeling optimistic that she will overcome this disease.
