Support Velvet Witch’s New Community Sanctuary

Hi! It’s your favorite witch here, and I was super hesitant to make this fundraiser, however to serve the community with my next chapter, I need your help.

Velvet Witch has been a labor of love for our community here in Hampton Roads. A goal, a dream of mine after I couldn’t find a space during my own spiritual awakening that I could relate to. I am a safe space for the community and have guided people in trusting their intuition and being their authentic selves. I have shown the community what it means to be proud of who you are. I am a huge advocate for human rights, mental health and LGBTQ+ rights.

With my last venture on Colonial Ave, I was able to have a space where people could feel comfortable in being free and confident in claiming being a witch or even just spiritual.

It is now time for me to show you what being a witch and healer really looks like. With my new space, the little house so many of you already have head healings or shadow work sessions in, I plan on providing you active services as needed. In addition to what I already offer.

We will have an amazing array of organic herbs, on demand services such as spiritual baths, specialized teas, candle services and more. Fresh herbs and flowers will be grown on our roof for those who can’t have a garden for us to offer. Of course we will continue to have the best hand picked crystals!

The products we make and will carry will be curated for the season and moons. Think your very own neighborhood witch house and apothecary.

My sidekick Morgan and I are ready to show you how powerful earth magic and the power of intention really are!

Being closed for a few weeks to transition spaces and having tariffs hit some of the regular items we carry along with needing shelving, supplies and window treatments for the space has brought up challenges. I know things are difficult right now but I believe so deeply in what I’m going to offer the community and what I do that I decided to ask for help.

I am grateful for being embraced and supported by the community these last 7.5 years and can’t wait to show you what’s to come!
