For years, Stuft Pizza has been more than just a restaurant to our community — it has been a second home. It’s the place where families gather after games, friends celebrate birthdays, and neighbors come together. At the center of it all is Velma, the heart and soul of Stuft Pizza.

Recently, Velma suffered a stroke, and her life has changed dramatically. Since then, she has been battling daily seizures and can no longer safely be left alone. Despite everything she is facing physically and emotionally, Velma still comes into Stuft Pizza every single day because it is the place she loves most and where she feels safest surrounded by people who care about her. Anyone who knows Velma knows she has spent years taking care of this community — now it is our turn to take care of her.

The medical challenges she faces are overwhelming. Between ongoing treatment, recovery, supervision needs, lost income, and daily living expenses, the burden continues to grow. This fundraiser is to help relieve some of that pressure so Velma can focus on healing while continuing to have the support and care she deserves.
