Support Velasquez Family

The Velasquez  family has been our dearest family friends for 14 years.  Mike's wife Kathy is supporting their two sons during this tough time. Mike is an amazing person and a wonderful family man. If anyone is in need of help Mike is the first person there to lend a helping hand.  We all have our own personal stories with Mike and know his family is everything to him. Mike's family is in need of support for medical expenses, everyday expenses and an upcoming graduation for his son next year. On Saturday March 23rd, our dearest friend Mike was out for a run when he suffered from a heart attack. He was in the ICU fighting for his life. On Tuesday, April 2nd Mike was removed from life support.  Mike was continuing to fight like the fighter and strong person he is.  We are all witnessing a miracle!!  Wonderful news to share. Mike is not only breathing on his own, he is awake, talking, crying, expressing feelings and he recognizes his Family! God is the only one who can make someone who is non-responsive, on a ventilator machine breathing for him in one moment, to breathing and talking on his own in the next moment. 
 I put together the GoFund Me to help give the Velasquez family some extra support and a little peace at mind. Please continue to pray for Mike as he gains his strength and for good health in his body as he recovers fully.
