My name is Vega (they/he, elle/le), and I am crowdfunding to support my upcoming quality of life improving, gender-affirming, hysterectomy and recovery. Your support means everything to me.

Your donations will allow me to heal with dignity and security. My surgery date is scheduled for December 2nd, 2022. While I have the privilege of health insurance that will cover 80% of the surgery's cost, I still have to come up with $9,000 for the procedure and make up for income lost while healing. This necessary surgery will relieve me from extremely painful and disruptive endometriosis, PMDD, and gender dysphoria that I have been medically managing since I was a young teen. Additionally, I have an Amazon wish list to help collect supplies that will help me recover comfortably, available here. As surgery draws near I will also be planning to set up a Meal Train account to schedule with people to help we with small chores, pet care, and meals.
