Hey everyone!

Most of you know us but for those who don’t that super strong kid you see there is my daughter Veda.

She started weightlifting a little bit after her 10th birthday while living in Oklahoma and recently turned 13 years old.

Currently we live in Wiesbaden Germany but moving away hasn’t stopped her from continuing to train in the sport she loves. This will be her third year traveling back to the US to compete at USAW Nationals in June.

Being a military kiddo can be tough, add in being a military kiddo who competes in sports and it’s a whole different layer of hard. You never know what your community will have to offer wherever you move to.

Traveling to the states is the only opportunity she has to compete and I can let your imagination roam as to what the cost for this looks like.

In previous years she has taught herself to sew, done numerous bake sales and more to help raise funds to travel back stateside. This year looks a little different as “free” time is few and far between. That hasn’t stopped her from trying but reaching her goal is a little “unrealistic” right now.
