Hello! My name is Veda Selin, and I am a senior Cinematography student at Columbia College Chicago. I am also the director, writer, + director of photography of Blue Amber, my last school Cinematography project!

The short film follows an artist who is painting in a field one day when suddenly, she imagines a house. Feeling an indescribable urge to be there, she goes in search of it. When she finds the house from her imagination, there is another woman inside cooking soup. They embark on a warm and beautiful relationship in which they support each other in their love and their work.
