Van was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, Invasive Ductal Carcinoma on May 1, 2024. Shocking as this news is, Van has taken everything in stride with a positive attitude and a will to overcome this. She will begin 5 months of chemotherapy on June 14, 2024. Following this treatment, she will undergo a double mastectomy prior to radiation therapy.

To make this unexpected time a little easier, this GFM account has been set up. Funds are being raised to offset treatment costs, co-pays, deductibles, dog walking/boarding, food delivery, etc. If you are able to donate, we would be eternally grateful.
