Our family is walking through one of the hardest seasons of our lives.

My sister, Vanessa, was recently diagnosed once more with multiple cancerous tumors, and just a few days ago, she underwent surgery to remove one of them. While we are incredibly grateful for a successful surgery, this is only the beginning of a long and challenging road ahead.

She receives her treatment in Houston, which means constant travel back and forth from San Antonio. Between temporary housing, gas, food, and medical-related expenses, the financial burden has quickly become overwhelming. On top of that, this summer she will begin six weeks of daily radiation treatment, requiring her to live in Houston, away from her home, her children (Clarissa & Jayden), and her husband (Jason).

As you can imagine, this has taken not only a financial toll, but a deep emotional one as well. She is a devoted mother, a loving wife, and one of the strongest people we know... but even the strongest people need support during times like this.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial stress so she and her family can focus on what truly matters: her healing, her strength, and staying connected as a family through this incredibly difficult time.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help cover travel, housing, and everyday expenses during her treatment and recovery.
