Vanessa is a 33 year-old devoted mother to Mikey (3), a loving wife, aunt, daughter, and sister. She has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer and will require at least 5 months of chemotherapy, surgery, and potentially post-operative chemotherapy and/or radiation. She will also need to be on immunotherapy infusions for a year.

Vanessa is no stranger to the challenges of cancer. She has been the foundation of her family as her husband battles cancer, with a recurrence happening earlier this year.

We all know Vanessa for her positive personality, infectious smile, overwhelming strength, as an amazing photographer, and a loving mother. She always puts others' needs before her own and can brighten any situation with her humor. It is our hope that she can face this battle armed with the same positivity and fierceness she brings to every challenge she faces.

We are raising funds to help Vanessa through this journey, as she and her husband will need to take a significant amount of time off work and still have the expenses of medical bills, childcare, a mortgage, and all of their normal bills to cover.
