It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our dear friend, Mariangela Kappes. She meant so much to so many of us, and this loss has been incredibly difficult for everyone who knew and loved her.

In the months leading up to her passing, Mariangela was bravely battling multiple illnesses that ultimately led to her passing. During this time, her daughter selflessly stepped into the role of full-time caregiver, dedicating herself entirely to caring for her mother through an incredibly difficult chapter.

As Mariangela’s daughter, Vanessa Kappes, navigates this heartbreaking time, she is also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. We are starting this GoFundMe to help ease that stress so she can focus on grieving, remembering, and honoring her mother’s life.
